It was definitely a hot day here too. Haven't made a pie yet but, I may. That sounds good. I also have a food dehydrator now and I am going to try my hand at making dried fruit.
You know, I think Porter might actually adjust well out here. It is much cooler here in the mountains than anywhere else. I hasn't been that bad. Better than out east.
